James Gandolfini, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Catherine Keener shine in this heartwarming comedy that A.O.
Scott of The New York Times calls “a small miracle of a movie.”
Divorced mom Eva (Louis-Dreyfus) may be falling for Albert (Gandolfini), a sweet, funny, like-minded divorcé. But as their relationship blossoms, Eva befriends Marianne (Keener), who’s always complaining about her ex-husband. When Eva realizes that Albert is the target of Marianne’s rants, she begins to question her own perceptions about first impressions and second chances.
I am so glad I had the chance to review Enough Said, it is one of the best romance comedies I have seen in quite a while. I have always been a huge fan of Julia Louis-Drefus. As always, I was so happy with her performance. However, I was not familiar with Gandolfini but I would have to say that he did a great job playing his character.
This movie was very close to home for me as I have gone through a divorce with a daughter before. I love how in the movie they make mistakes and learn new things. The movie portrays real people, real situations and how they must learn from these moments.
All of the actors did an amazing job at playing their characters and really bringing them to life. I am so happy I had the chance to watch this movie and see how unexpected love can sweep you off your feet.
Enough Said is available on DVD and Blu-ray on January 14
