The heat Blu-ray Review 'Holiday Gift Guide 2013'

Oscar® Winner Sandra Bullock* and Oscar® Nominee Melissa McCarthy** are a “dynamite duo” (George Pennacchio, KABC-TV) in this outrageously funny comedy from the director of Bridesmaids, Paul Feig. Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) couldn't be more incompatible. But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected...buddies.
The Heat is such an extremely funny movie. From the moment, it starts to the moment it ends. Both of these actors do an amazing job together in this movie. I would suggest not watching this movie with your little ones in the room due to adult language and humor.

This movie offers tons of humor, comedy, and moments that will make it to where you can relate to the characters. I really like that the movie offers the traditional good cop vs. bad cop but with tons of extra laughs. One of my favorite parts is when Bullocks character gets a makeover from McCarthys character. This has to be one of my favorite moments.

This movie is great for a girl’s night with your besties because you will have a great laugh and really enjoy yourself.
