VTech InnoTab 3 Learning Tablet Review/Giveaway

My family is what you would call very tech savvy. We have several iPhones, tablets, laptops, a netbook, game systems and a desktop computer. With my hubby, going to school for software engineering it is no surprise that we love technology as we do. I love what all technology offers. As a mom, I see all of the games you can have for your kids on these devices that can teach our kids and really elevate their knowledge to do with so many different things. With my little boy now six and in Kindergarten I am always looking for games that can really help him with his leanings in school while at the same time have fun. I had the opportunity to work with V-tech on a review on their new InnoTab 3, which offers so much for a kid from the age 3-9. The InnoTab 3 is a great first learning tablet for kids! It combines educational games, creative activities and reading skills while emphasizing fun.

When I first received the VTech InnoTab 3 Learning Tablet, I was impressed with everything that you received with the tablet. You receive two styluses, "Read, Play and Create" cartridge, 4 AA batteries, USB Cable, and a Learning Lodge installation CD. Everything you need to get to playing, learning and having fun. I knew my little boy was going to be thrilled when he got home from school to see the tablet. When he did get home from school his reaction to seeing the VTech tablet was exactly as I would expect it to be, THRILLED.

I really like several of the features about the VTech InnoTab 3 Learning Tablet. I love that the tablet is not overly huge. It is on the smaller size, which allows Conner to be able to maintain it with ease. I like that the tablet comes with two styluses as well as a cord to make it where your little one does not lose the stylus. I know with the kids 3DS we are constantly buying stylus so the cord is a great feature. I also really like all of the apps that are available. The games are fun and educational the way that I like games to be for my kids.

Conner has had a blast with the MP3 player. This allows him to listen to his favorite songs. I must admit I do have a little rocker. The screen resolution and image is very nice and clear. I also love the camera well Conner does. He has taken so many pictures and has had a blast. You never know what the end picture will look like with the editing you are able to do with the pictures on the tablet.

I really like the Learning Lodge Software that is offered with the VTech tablet. I think it is a great thing to be able to connect my own devices to the tablet to be able to monitor Conner’s progress. When you install the software onto your device, you receive one free download. The Learning Lodge offers more than 350 games that are educational, ebooks to help teach our little ones how to read, music and videos. It truly offers many different things to help with your child’s development in learning for their age group.

I really like that the software offers a huge library of subjects such as reading, social studies, math, science and much more. This is a great way to teach our kids while at the same time allowing them to have fun.  I think this software is great with all that it offers. It allows me to keep an eye on Conner’s progress and there are tons of educational fun items for downloading.

During my review I found that the batteries for us is the not the way to go. Conner loves to play on it so much that we are left changing them and after a while, that is a lot of money. We simply went the route of buying the rechargeable power pack, which is something I highly recommend.

Overall, during my review I can say that my little boy and I both really like the VTech InnoTab 3 Learning Tablet. I love what it offers as a mom and Conner loves what it offers for him as a little kid.
