Spoonful of Comfort Review/Giveaway

I love soup! I do not love every soup that I have tried, but I do enjoy most types. Out of all the soups that I have eaten, I can honestly say that Chicken Noodle has to be my favorite. Growing up, I always thought that the best Chicken Noodle soup was my mom’s Homemade. She always made the noodles herself and concocted her own broth, as well as cutting the chicken breast and using seasoning and filler, like celery. I have tried many different kinds of soups that you buy at the store. While none of them are terrible, I find most to be a far cry from the homemade chicken noodle snoop I was raised on and now consider authentic and traditional. Well I am happy to share that I have found a company that offers soup that replicates the finest of home-cooked offerings from the most skilled of home cooks.

The Spoonful Chicken Noodle Soup that I received was awesome. It came in a jar that looked like about a half-gallon in volume. It was sealed and suitably protected. There were other goodies that made this package into a veritable kit of sorts. I am going to start by saying that the chicken noodle soup was amazing. The noodles were homemade and the broth was mouthwatering. I loved that Spoonful of Comfort included a slight amount of celery and carrots in the soup. To me, it is not chicken noodle soup without celery and carrots. The chicken was chopped into roughly ½” cubes. The meat looked like it was 100% white breast meat that had not been processed. Everything about the soup was perfect, it was actually a little better than moms (please don’t tell).
The kit included dinner rolls that were perfected accomplices to the soup. Spoonful outdid themselves by including these. I heated and put butter on them, they were amazing. Also included were oatmeal and raison cookies. My husband and I ate these within minutes. I can swear by these cookies, as I usually do not like oatmeal/raison. These were great because the raison flavor did not overwhelm the rest of the cookie. Spoonful is a great brand that I am pleased to bring to you. Give them a shot if you love traditional soup and you will certainly not be disappointed.
These would also make for a great care package for those students that are going off to college or maybe have already left for college. Being away from home they would really enjoy the quality homemade taste.
