Real Kids Shades Review/Giveaway

With summer here I have a daily routine to get my family ready to go outside. I have to grab sunscreen and sun glasses and make sure every part of my kids is protected. As a parent we don't want our little ones skin or eyes to get hurt in any way, we want to protect them. My kids even have this theory if it is cloudy they don't need sunscreen. If only they knew that you can still get a burn with clouds. The one thing they have never complained about was wearing sunglasses. My kids love to wear sunglasses thank goodness because I know their eyes are being protected and I don't have to argue with them to wear them. Recently, I was sent two different pairs of sunglasses to review from Real Kids Shades. I received the Xtreme Sport in Navy for my little boy and the Glide Hot Pink for my little girl.

Real Kids Shades are the doctor recommended sunblock you can apply directly to your kids’ eyes. They’re made with shatterproof, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses because it’s the best stuff kids’ sunglasses can be made from. The Xylex frames are super light and durable while the TPE frames are extremely flexible and bendable. Our wrap-around frames minimize exposure to harmful peripheral light. Opticians can even fit some of the styles with prescription lenses.
Glide Shades 7 - 12 Years $14.99

~100% UV protection (UVA & UVB) to 400 nanometers clearly indicated on each individual package
~Rubber tipped temples
~Wrap style design for a close, comfortable fit that minimizes peripheral light
~Waterproof Rustproof
~Removable neoprene strap
Dominique was really happy when she received her Glide Hot Pink sunglasses. These glasses are super stylish and look so cute when being worn. My little girl loves to flip and flop around the yard so these are the perfect sunglasses where they have rubber tipped temples. I love that they offer 100% UV Protection for her eyes because with my kids they don't realize that looking at the sun can harm their eyes. These glasses are also impact resistant which I think is great because you never know when your kid is going to drop them. Trust me I have had several pairs get broke by simply being dropped.

Her glasses also come with this really cool strap that is removable. It is really easy to attach the strap as well as detach. When you wear the sunglasses with the strap it makes them fit like goggles just not as tight. These glasses are everything that my little girl would want in a pair of sunglasses as well as myself for my daughter.

Xtreme Sport 3 - 7 Years $19.99

~100% UV protection (UVA & UVB) to 400 nanometers clearly indicated on each individual package
~Stay Put Power
~Anti-fog vents prevent moisture build-up on lenses
~Comfortable foam padding
~Adjustable neoprene band that comfortably and securely keeps the glasses in place
~Waterproof Rustproof
My little boy is the one that usually loses his glasses or they fall off and get broke. My little boy has so much energy and sometimes it can show when he is outside playing. The Xtreme Sport in navy blue is the best glasses I could ask for right now for my little boy. These glasses are really cool looking and offer a stylish more grown up look not so little boy. These sunglasses also offer 100% UV Protection and are impact resistant. Not only are my little boy’s eyes being protected but also the glasses.

Now these glasses are not like tradition glasses there are no arms. Instead there is a wrap around foam strap that is adjustable. Plus, there is foam around the eyes to keep the sun completely out from his eyes. I did wonder what Conner would think about these sunglasses because of the strap but he really likes them much more than his traditional sunglasses. No matter what he does outside his glasses stay in place without any issues. The sunglasses also come with a micro fiber sleeve that can also be used to clean the lens.

Both of my kids really enjoyed their sunglasses and I can see these glasses getting worn all the time.
