EveryDay Willow Wool Dryer Balls Review/Giveaway

I really miss the warm breezy days when I can just wash my clothes and hang them on the line to dry. There is something about hanging your clothes on the line to dry that makes them so fresh. Of course, right now it is winter and snowy, so I have to use my dryer a lot more which means I have to use more fabric sheets and the electric bill also goes up. Plus, sometimes when I purchase laundry sheets, I wonder how many different chemicals do they use to make these sheets smell good and work. Also, I would love to find something that would save my family money on our laundry on a daily basis. Everyday Willow so was kind enough to send me their Wool Dryer Balls that are perfect in every way. I was really impressed with how well these wool balls worked.

The Willow Store offers a variety of green items. Items include: reusable diapers, feminine products, clothes, bags, nursing pads and so much more.

ReusaWool Dryer Balls $19.95
Great for all laundry. To use, simply toss 2-3 balls in your wet dryer and start. No need to remove them from the dryer, just reuse!

ReusaWool Dryer Balls are the natural solution for softening your clothes without chemicals. Made completely from wool, they help your clothes (and cloth diapers!) tumble dry softly, and reduce the drying time by up to half.

100% Wool, some natural pilling may occur over time. Available in natural and colors. The colors are safe for any color laundry, the dye used is fiber reactive, and will not bleed onto your clothing.

Handmade in the US.

During my review I was sent a set of three Wool Dryer Balls in the "natural" color. I am happy I was sent the natural color but I would have loved the colorful ones just the same. When I got the balls out of the box I noticed they were all very soft and the size of tennis balls. I love that the wool balls are soft, it is obvious that a good quality of wool was used to make these laundry balls.

When I use my dryer it is mostly for jeans, sheets, towels, dish clothes and so on. When it comes to our nice shirts and my bras I let them air dry in the house. Simply because I am afraid our shirts will shrink and fade in color. I was really excited to see how well these wool dryer balls worked on the clothes that I do dry on a daily basis compared to fabric sheets.

The first load I dried with the wool dryer balls was my dark's which had some jeans in the load. These are the loads that seem to take forever to dry. So, I couldn't' wait to see if the dry time would really be shortened. It usually takes a good hour to dry a load like this in my dryer. I have never been able to figure out why, since my dryer is only 6 years old. I put it on the full hour but I then went and checked on them after a half hour and the difference really was noticeable. Usually my clothes are still really wet at this time but with the wool dryer balls they were slightly damp. Very impressed and still a little shocked. After the load was completed I noticed my clothes are softer then normal and also not full of static. My clothes are usually pretty soft but they were just a little softer this time. Static is the thing that used to be my problem. These do not contain the usual fabric softener scent, but are more impressive in every other way. I am very impressed with how well these little wool balls worked and would highly recommend them. This are great for anyone trying to be more environmental friendly, save money and save on your electric bill.
