NeatDesk Review

Could you use a helping hand organizing your business life? Does paperwork pile up, often ending in catastrophic or hectic, last-minute (and sometimes inaccurate) filing jobs. Could you cover your walls with the paperwork filed in your home or place of business? How about those pesky little receipts? I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t need a little help with receipts. Well if you can answer “yes” to any of the above questions, then the NeatDesk scanner is just the product that you have been waiting for.

Whether you need lightning-fast batch scanning or a portable scanner, on a Mac or PC, NeatDesk has got a solution that will work for you.

NeatDesk priced at $399.95 is a high-speed, duplex desktop scanner and digital filing system. Scan receipts, business cards and documents in one batch while the software identifies, extracts and organizes key information. Includes Neat software.

For a reasonable discount, I was given the opportunity to write a review on the NeatDesk. My husband and I run a home inspection business, I partake in consumer research, and we try to keep as close an eye as possible on our bills and spending. Since receiving the NeatDesk, it has helped with all of these tasks tremendously. I would say that without it, I would need a new filing cabinet soon.

The design is very compact, it takes up roughly one third the space of a small desk-jet printer. It is designed like an upright fax machine. The documents load in the top and exit the bottom after they are scanned. The feeder tray is fixed in place and has convenient slots for documents, receipts, and business cards, all of which work suitably well. There are two buttons on the front, one for general scanning, and one to scan the images to a PDF.

The NeatDesk can scan both sides of a document without needing to turn it over and re-scan. The images are displayed in a surprisingly clear quality, and if something doesn’t scan right (I have not experienced this yet) it can be easily fixed. No more space-consuming mess, or crumpled and unsightly receipts. This machine is a virtual desktop for all of your important documentation.

There are some mixed and conflicting reviews out there when it comes to the NeatDesk, and its capabilities. Personally, I cannot think of one substantial reason that you shouldn’t purchase the handy machine. I think that a lot of people grow frustrated when learning how to utilize all of the NeatDesk’s features, or expect too much from the machine. If you take the NeatDesk for what it is, you’ll discover that it does exactly what it advertises. You’ll also discover just how helpful and efficient it can be to make this machine a part of your home, office, or home-office.
