Ecowear Future Oxygen Pendants Tomoson Review/Giveaway

Every once in a while I come across an innovative new product that really surprises and triggers something in me. One product that has really touched me on the whole concept of going green is the Future Oxygen bracelets that your whole family are able to enjoy together. You may be wondering; how can the whole family enjoy it together and what role does oxygen play? These bracelets are very special, you can plant them and they will actually grow into trees. So when you plant a bracelet, you then get to watch it come to life as a family and help supply the world and its people with a little bit of oxygen.

All Future Oxygen products are 100% biodegradable, including the packaging. A portion of proceeds from a selected pendant is donated to a featured community organization. These bracelets and pendents are a fun and amazing way to show how Eco friendly you are. The braided hemp bracelets are nine inches long with a specially designed bead.  Each bead is filled with a white pine tree seed.  There is a simple loop knot design which makes it easy to wear and adjust to your wrist size. There are so many different designs available from smiley faces to butterflies and so much more.

When I received my package for review I was amazed at how pretty the bracelets and pendants were. I was curious about the whole process of how it works. Well, after reading the instructions it is quit simple. You simply soak the pendant and string in water for an entire day to germinate the seeds and then you simply plant it outside. Depending on the weather, you may want to plant it in a pot. You do want to make sure you keep the dirt moist until the tree does start to sprout. We are going to start ours indoors. You can do this easily using the bottom half of an empty 2-liter.

For my review, I was sent two different pendants, one had a smiley face and the other had a lizard. Both were pretty cool but my kids let me know what ones they wanted pretty fast. We haven't planted our pendants yet, but we are getting ready to on Mothers Day. It was my little girl's idea to wait until that day to do it as a family for me. I think that is so sweet. Until then, my kids are having fun wearing them and they are pretty Eco stylish.
