Learning Resources 'Measuring Motors' Review/Giveaway

My little boy is such a huge fan of cars. So, when it comes to learning, we try to find ways to incorporate that interest to keep his attention. This, in return, keeps him focused and helps him learn enjoyably, faster, and more effectively. With Conner in Pre-School, it is that time when they are learning about sorting from largest to smallest, making patterns, and starting to do math in it's most introductory form. Learning Resources a seasoned company known for it's learning incorporated fun, has sent me this amazing product called Measuring Motors. This set encourages experimentation and learning and is also super fun for children of any age to interact with.

On the Learning Resources website, there are two different tabs. One is for Teachers and the other is for Parents. When shopping you can search by age, category, subject, or brand. This aids you in better finding exactly what you are looking for. The Company has a diverse product line of over 1,300 proprietary products which serve children and their families, from kindergarten, primary, and middle school markets, focused in the areas of mathematics, science, early childhood, reading, Spanish language, English language learning, and teacher resources.

Measuring Motors  $29.99
Navigate nonstandard measurement! Compare and estimate cars of varying sizes. Also great for counting, sorting, patterning, number stories, problem solving and developing critical-thinking skills. Includes 88 cars in 4 colors and 3 sizes (1"—3"), 4 interlocking road tracks and Activity Guide. Grades PreK+

My little boy went absolutely nuts when he saw this on the kitchen table as he got home from school. So of course, with all of the excitement, I had to open it. I was really shocked with all of the cars. There are so many and with four different bold colors and three sizes they are visually appealing to adults, and stimulating to children. The cars are very durable, you don't have to worry about them getting broken in anyway. There are also 4 sections of road that can be put together to run the cars on.

I love that these cars can be used to teach your little one how to sort by colors or by size. Also you can teach them how to do a pattern like blue, yellow, red, blue, yellow, red and so on. You can also use the cars to do a little adding and subtracting, as well as measurements. I am really surprised that I was able to keep my little boys attention for so long. He is really hyper so having something that really works towards his interest and he learns makes me one happy mom.

These sets were what we used to look forward to using in grade school, and this is brought to you by the same company that supplied the schools all those years ago, and continues to do so today. High quality educational fun, with a kick of nostalgia thrown in, you gotta love that.
