Little Angels DVD's "ABC's, 123's and Animals" review

Discover the joy of learning and friendship with this season’s most heavenly new collection! From executive producer Roma Downey (“Touched by an Angel”) comes the first three volumes of a fresh, fun and inspiring educational series that children and their parents (and grandparents too) can enjoy together in LITTLE ANGELS ABC’s, LITTLE ANGELS ANIMALS, and LITTLE ANGELS 1,2,3’s, soaring onto DVD with Digital Copy February 14 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

LITTLE ANGELS is an animated DVD series and has been created for pre-school aged children to teach practical learning skills like ABCs and numbers. The series is presented in a captivating and entertaining format that will help parents to teach their little angels a big love of learning while also providing hours of fun to enjoy together with exciting DVD extras.

Pre-school twins Alex and Zoe are blessed to have eight Little Angels watching over them – literally! These Little Angels live on the ceiling of their bedroom, painted there so they are the first things the kids see when they wake up in the morning and the last thing they see before they fall asleep at night. The angels come to life when the children need them most, helping guide them through the challenges of their young lives.

Featuring a great deal of interactive DVD extras including charming music videos and downloadable activity sheets, plus a downloadable bonus digital copy of each lesson that will allow for learning on the go, the LITTLE ANGELS ABC’s, LITTLE ANGELS ANIMALS, and LITTLE ANGELS 1, 2, 3’s DVDs are a great value moms can feel good about sharing with their little angels. The Little Angels DVD series is an important part of a whole new franchise of fun, inspiring and educational products including CDs, books, apparel and App.

We always want the best for our kids. Of course, with all of the different forms of media now days, they see things we don't want them to. I find that even some of the programming on "kid-friendly" channels has began to evolve, and is nearing what I would call questionable territory. You might agree and wonder; Where can I find more suitable entertainment for my children? The answer would be that it's out there, it just isn't as accessible or plentiful as it used to be. Enter the "Little Angels" line of products.
These are ideas brought to us by Mrs. Roma Downy, the wonderful woman who played as Monica on the 'Touched by an angel' series. Now Mrs. Downy might be a little tired of hearing 'Touched by an Angel' references, but I had to mention it, as the Little Angels DVDs are themed similarly. Alex and Zoe are two very special children, with very special friends. Their friends are angels that show up to help the children when the time is just right. Everything from the Art, animation, and voice work is right down a child's alley. My kids fluttered with delight as the angels showed up to help.

Perhaps the best part of these DVDs, is fact that not only do they entertain your kids, they also keep them busy through learning. The numbers DVD was my son's favorite, while my daughter loves the one with the animals. Not only are they educational, they also teach children the value of good morals, which is something that is becoming hard to find anywhere.

There are loads of fun extras to check out that add value to the already cherish-able DVDs. You should really consider picking these up for your children. As I stated before they are educational and inspirational, but still entertaining enough to keep your child involved and make them beg to watch them again. When they do, you can re-start the DVD with confidence, knowing that your child will be picking up valuable information and knowledge.
