Here are 7 Tips To Help Save Money This Holiday Season

Are you ready for Christmas? I am well not the part of stressing about the extra costs. Here are 7 amazing tips from Savings Expert Jeanette Pavini on how to have a healthy, happy and budget-friendly holiday!

1.)  Stocking Stuffers— The 99 cent store is a great place to get little items your child will love. No, really! Try coloring books, craft supplies, markers, crayons, toys, games, mittens and scarves, cute socks, puzzles and more!

2.) Presentation is key— For a fairytale Christmas look, quantity is better.  Children will immediately look under the tree for how many gifts they have. Wrap up each gift separately so they have more to unwrap.

3.) Santa’s cookies for less— If you leave cookies for Santa to eat why not have some fun and bake them?  The house will smell delicious and the kids will enjoy the experience too.  Ready to bake cookies are quick and taste delicious too.  SAVE $1.00 on two Pilsbury packages at Coupons.com.

4.) Finish the tree off with personality— String popcorn on the tree with your kids for a cozy, inexpensive and fun night together!

5.) Cheap reads— A book is a great gift for a child and is relatively inexpensive. (Wrap them up separately– see tip two above.) Barnes and Nobles is offering 10% off by using the coupon code at coupons.com. Just enter this code when making your purchase: X8A8C9Y

6.) Make your own wrapping paper— Recycle, get creative, and save money all at the same time. Let your kids cut and paste their favorite images together from newspapers and magazines to create themed gift wrap! For example, if your daughter loves nature, let her go through some old issues of Better Homes and Gardens to create a collage.

7.) Natural centerpiece— Get into the season by making a home-made arrangement with pine cones, leaves, and rocks. Get the family involved with a little hunt in the backyard, take a walk or hike. Have an adventure to remember with a unique display you made together!

These tips are amazing and I have found them to be a great way to make our Christmas even more amazing for the family.
