Jamberry Nails Review/Giveaway "Holiday Gift Guide 2011"

My little girl and I love to paint our nails. At times, we will simply do a solid color whether it be a crazy color or a normal nail color. Then other times we will go a little crazy by adding bling, strips, glitter and more. Of course when we do our nails, they don't look as good as nail salon nails. When Jamberry Nails offered to send me a product to review, I knew my little girl and I were going to have so much fun. Plus, have totally awesome looking nails.

About the company: Jamberry Nails started with three sisters. They created Jamberry Nails to provide a simple way to brighten your day.  They constantly get letters and feedback from customers letting them know how much they love the product and how many compliments they get day after day. They know we all will love the product too and feel great wearing the Nail Shields. You'll also love Jamberry Nails because of how easily they can be applied and how many different looks you can achieve by mixing and matching. The Nail Shields will give you that high-end salon look in the convenience of your own home.
There are so many styles, designs, and graphics available at Jamberry Nails. Depending on your style I am sure you will find what you will love. They offer; solid or mixed colors, bling, holiday designs, polka dots, bridal party, sophistication, and so so much more.

Jamberry Nail Shields are made to have fun, easy to apply, and look great! The instructions are super easy to follow and if you follow the steps to a tee you won't have any issues and they will come out looking like you have been to the nail salon. There is also a really great video tutorail that you will want to watch. The video helps so much.

Step 1: Clean nails with nail polish remover or alcohol. (Clean, oil free nails are one of the most important steps of the application)
Step 2: Cut and file nails to desired length and shape.
Step 3: Buff top of the nail and push back cuticle.
Step 4: Match nail (finger or toe) to the nail shield that best fits.
Step 5: Peel off nail shield and warm with a blow-dryer 10-15 seconds or until soft and flexible.
Step 6: When warm, press the shield onto the nail.  Apply firm pressure around edges to adhere the shield to the nail.  Use rubber cuticle pusher to seal the shield around the cuticle.
Step 7:  Trim the top with scissors and file off remaining shield using a downward motion to remove excess.
Step 8: Apply heat and pressure to the shield again until it is sealed to the nail. (Repeating this step several times helps create a tight seal to the nail surface and increases wear time)
Optional  Step 9: For active users you can add a small amount of nail glue to the free edge to better seal the nail shield.
How to Remove: Use hair dryer to heat for 15 seconds and slowly peel from the corner of your nail

I was really happy when Jamberry Nails sent me their product. When I was sent to the website to pick the design to review, I was actually stumped. I couldn't decide on the deign I wanted to review, there was so many great colors and designs offered. After a while my little girl and I decided to go with the Pink on Black Zebra, but I did choose a few others in case they were out of my first choice.

After we got the Jamberry Nails my little girl was ready to have some fun styling her nails. I am going to say that I am really happy that I read the instructions and also watched the video. I know if I had just tried to do it without the instructions I would never have gotten the Jamberry Nails to work.

It took a good 15 minutes or so to complete my little girls, plus my toe nails. We were so happy with the outcome, I mean who doesn't want Pink on Black Zebra toe nails. Plus, our nails looked like we had been at the nail salon. I can't believe how great these looked.

They lasted for a week or so. Not sure if we would have been able to get them to last longer. These would be great as a stocking stuffer for any little girl, teen or mom.

Where to purchase: You are able to purchase from the Jamberry from their website. Each Jamberry is priced at $15.00 per sheet.
