Rock N Learn Solar System Audio CD & Book Review / Giveaway

My kids love to learn, which for me is great. But, with certain things I just don't know enough about what they are wanting to learn to teach them. My little one's love to go outside in the summer at nights with the telescope. They love to look at the stars and well they think they are looking at planets, but my telescope isn't that good. It is such a great family fun activity in the summer and well it makes me happy that they enjoy doing things like this. The problem for me is when they start asking me questions about the planets. I do know a little bit, but not enough to answer all their questions. In fact, I do wonder if I answer some of the questions right. So, during my review I decided to review the Rock N Learn Solar System Audio CD & Book.

My little girl loved this so much. For one she already has a CD player in her room and she knows how to read, making her completely prepared to enjoy these. I noticed that this is newly updated, with teaching's without Pluto. Pluto, not being a planet is today still a shock to me since I was always taught that it was. The CD offers really great music that can get little ones in the mood to listen and learn.

I was really impressed with the images in the book. The images were not drawings, but were the real thing. This allowed the kids to really get a idea of what the actual planet's look like. I was really happy with all the information that was offered. After I personally read the book, I actually learned some things that I didn't know myself. Plus. it was a great way to brush up on the solar system, with my kids.

With both of my kids in school this is a great way to teach my kids about the solar system. Plus, with my kids they love to look into the sky and learn about space. When we have nice warm nights we take the telescope outside and look at the stars and planets. This allows my kids to continue learning and enjoying the planets and stars even in the winter.
