Bluapple Produce Saver Review/Giveaway "3 Winners"

Don't you just hate when you go too the store and you spend all this money on fruits and veggies to only have them go bad within a short time. I only go too the store once every other week due to living so far from the stores. I hate to go to the store since it takes me a good 25 minutes just to get to the grocery store. So, when I do go shopping I do expect my fruits and veggies to at least last until my next shopping trip. Within a week the fresh items I have gotten are going bad and aren't any good anymore. I am lucky if I can get a week in a half with fresh items. I couldn't have been more happier to have had the chance to review the Bluapple. The Bluapple has allowed me to keep fresh food in my house longer and also save money.

Ethylene gas is given off by all living plants, especially by fruits, vegetables and flowers, and acts as a chemical signal to speed up the ripening process.  The release of this gas is thought to be a mechanism by which plants promote uniform ripening or opening, etc.   In nature, the uniformity of these events attracts the maximum number of pollinators or seed disseminators, such as birds and insects. At home, however, when you store your fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator, ethylene gas builds up. As a result the ripening process is accelerated too quickly. This is a major reason we all throw out so much spoiled produce.
There are two differetn products available, Their is the Bluapple which comes with two bluapples in one package. They can be put in your refrigerator bins, fruit basket or other produce storage area. These also last up to three months.

For when the packet goes bad after the three months, you can purchase the Bluapple Refill's. They come with enough active ingredient packets for a full year of protection for two bluapples. Be sure to open the used packets and add the contents to your houseplants, they make a great fertilizer!

The Bluapple is based on technology that has been used in ships, warehouses and trucks for many years to absorb and neutralize ethylene gas buildup.  The Bluapple does not release any gas or chemical, but only absorbs, constantly removing this harmful gas from your produce storage area.  The Bluapple is not a "magic" pill, but a scientific and essential part of keeping produce fresh.   When produce was cheap, no one cared, but as prices have risen, it became apparent that a very beneficial product for the home could make a huge difference.

The Bluapple is a proven, science-based technology that we have adapted for use in the home.  With a single gourmet apple costing $1.25 these days, our produce is an investment worth protecting.  It is our view that the Bluapple is essentially FREE.  Users easily recover the purchase price in savings within a few weeks, and the Bluapple continues to deliver value for many months thereafter.

When I received the Bluapple I knew first off I wanted to try it with banana's. These are something that we eat but not real fast. Usually, within a week I have to put my banana's in the trash. They get soft and dark. So, of course I knew this would be a great thing to try the Bluapple with.

Upon getting my banana's I placed them in a pretty bowl along with the Bluapple. The picture is having the banana's for 3 days already. As you can tell they aren't getting any dark spots, they also still have a little green on them. These banana's would have lasted a easy 2 weeks if we hadn't eaten them all up.

This saved us money due to the fact I didn't have to trash nasty banana's since we got them ate up before they were bad. I am not one into putting food in the trash, I feel as if I am wasting money. So, having the Bluapple has been great. I can't wait to see how well this works for everything else. I did try it on the banana's as they seem to go bad the fastest. This is an item that is worth the money. I will be the first to say I was skeptical at first as many are. Having the chance to review this item first hand has really changed my mind. I know this will be an item to stay in our home for a really long time.

Where to purchase: The Bluapple can be purchased from the website. As well as nationally at retail locations such as Whole Foods Markets, Giant Foods, Stop & Shop, and many others. You are also able to purchase on Amazon for $9.95.
