Exederm Review

My little boy has had pretty sensitive skin since birth. He has a big problem with his legs and his arms getting really dry at times and depending on what we use can make it worse or better. There are a lot of little ones, even kids and adults that have skin issues and there skin is super sensitive. I had the chance to work with Exederm which allowed me to review several products.

About irritants:  Firstly, it’s important to state that most cosmetics and other skin care products are perfectly adequate for the normal person. However, if you’ve got eczema, dermatitis or dry sensitive skin that may not be good enough. We are all different, and what may be adequate for most people can cause irritation, contact dermatitis or an allergic reaction in others with more sensitive skin. Even if your existing product claims to be “Hypoallergenic” or “Sensitive” its worth checking the label to to see if it contains any common irritants:

Things such as these can cause worsen or cause a skin issue:

  • Fragrances
  • Color and Dyes
  • Parabens
  • Lanolin
  • Botanicals
  • Phthalates
  • Formaldehyde
  • Sodium Laureth Sulfate

About Skin: is a remarkable and complicated organ that we all take for granted. Sometimes, things can go wrong. There are hundreds of different types of skin conditions. Eczema and Dermatitis are interchangeable words derived from old Greek and Latin they both basically mean the same thing: “inflammation of the skin”. It’s uncomfortable and irritating, but it’s not life-threatening and it’s not contagious. There is no miracle cure but it can be very effectively managed and often avoided.
Eczema & Dermatitis affects about one in every five people at some time in their lives

There two main types or either Eczema or Dermatitis:
Atopic: This describes a chronic itchy skin condition very common in children and often associated with allergy problems such as hay fever or asthma
Contact: This describes a skin condition provoked by contact with an irritant substance such as detergent, soap or even nickel. It can affect all age groups. It is the most common form of adult dermatitis or eczema.

Exederm offers several different products to help with your little ones skin issues and yours from: creams. lotions, moisturizers, oils, washes, shampoo, and conditioner.

For my review I had the chance to review 5 different products and each worked and helped in so many different ways. I reviewed the Intensive Baby Moisturizer, Cleansing Baby Bath, Hydrating Baby Lotion, Non-Irritating Baby Shampoo, and Exederm cream. I do have a 3 years old and these were baby products but I still buy certain baby products for him with his skin issues. I loved the baby bath so much it really helped at not drying out his skin, then when you add the lotion and the moisturizer it really has kept his skin from drying out from being so sensitive. Plus the other two items also have worked great as well. With all of these products I can honestly say they have worked and helped so much. All products have none of these in them which I think is what has helped my little boy so much.
