The Cream Perfume Company Review/Giveaway

CLOSED
MANDY83 #40
The Cream Perfume Company is based in Southern California, and caters to active lifestyle's and people all over the world who share an appreciation for natural, effective and affordable personal care products.Which is just perfect for me since I am always trying to find natural and amazing effective products all the time.

They work exclusively with internationally renowned perfumers and the local artisans of Grasse to develop premium nature identical oil blends, ECOCERT certified organic essentials, absolutes and pure plant and fruit extracts. Their perfumes are all phthalate free and contain no sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, triclosan, GMO, PPG, MEA, DEA, TEA or formaldehyde donors. Our products are cruelty free.
Additionally, their perfumed body moisturizers are 100% vegan, wheat and gluten free, contain no glycol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic additives or synthetic fragrances.
They look for the world's best ingredients to luxuriously hydrate and repair your skin combined with unique fragrances to simply delight your senses. They also focus on environmentally friendly packaging and overall eco-value. They are The Cream Perfume Company and simply make better scents, naturally!

My Thoughts: First off I will start with the Rose Body Moisturizer which smelled so good. It is so creamy and it really softens the skin so much. I also loved that my little girl got to use it, with it be so natural and safe this is a plus. They also offer Coconut and Lavender in the moisturizer's. I have wanted to try solid fragrances for some time but have never until this review. I got to review the Apricot Chypre and the Mimosa bouque. I was really suprised at how long the smell lasts for and how it is so softly scented. My little girl liked it a lot also because she can put it on herself without almost spraying herself in the poor eyes. I also carry one in my purse at all times because it fits right in my purse with no problem and you don't have to worry about a bottle braking and ruining everything that is in your purse. These item's would make such a great stocking stuffer or even to make a gift basket of the stuff which I know several family members who would love to get this stuff.

Buy Here: You can go here and purchase lotions are at $12. and perfumes are $14.

One Lucky Winner: Will receive one item currently on their website of choice. Body lotions are valued at $12. and the solid fragrances are valued at $14.

photo from www.hairflairs.com

They offer tinsel, bling, and feathers for your hair. With Hair Flairs you can shampoo, condition, brush, comb, blow dry, use a straight iron and style what ever way you want. They even last as long as 2-6 weeks in your hair.

Pro Hair Tinsel was designed, developed, and tested specifically for professional stylists and are more durable than other products. Pro Hair Tinsel strands tie into hair with a knot. They do not damage hair with any hair processing chemicals, and also offer the best product at the best prices with free shipping.

You can also go here and read the step by step instructions which are really nicely detailed. They are great for so many things like: school dances, cheer-leading, dance recitals, school pictures, night clubbing, and everyday wear.

My Thoughts: I am so happy I got to review this product well my little girl is that is for sure. She loved how shiny it made her hair and she couldn't wait to show it off. It did take me a while at reading the instructions to get it figured out but once I did it was super easy to add in the hair. I also was really happy how I could still wash, brush and style her hair like normal with no problems. She has a dance recital coming up in May and I am differently going to purchase more of these for her hair and for her dance pictures they are going to be too cute.

You can also show some love by liking them on Facebook. You can also buy Hair Flairs here for $10.00.

Fun On The Farm DVD Review/Giveaway

CLOSED
Mindi #28

TM Books and Video's has given me the opportunity to review a product for them, John Deere Fun on the Farm prechool DVD is a 35 minute movie that will have all little boys that love tractors going crazy. The movie is a  fun and educational preschool video for younger children from ages 2-6.

The little ones will learn all kinds of things from watching this movie. They will learn where the food they eat comes from, all about growing seasons when certain foods grow the best, how to plant, cultivating and also how farmers harvest  the food in the fall. They get to see tractors and combines and lots of farm animals. There is a narrator who is Doodle the Rooster and is joined by Harvey Horse and Bell, the dairy cow. There are also game to play along with the Cloud Game where you try to find animals in the clouds up in the sky.

Visit the Farm in the Zoo at Lincoln Park Zoo, right in the middle of Chicago. You will also go to the John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, Illinois to see how John Deere makes their combines. All this fun is set to nine new original songs by our favorite singer/songwriter, James Coffey.

My Thoughts: This is such a great movie for little boys everywhere that loves animals and tractors. My little boy has watched it so many times in just the short time he has had it and every time he interacts with the movie. I am also so surprised at how much he has learned from this movie he has learned all about tractors, combines which to be honest I didn't know that is what they were called lol. So, I guess you could say I learned something too. It is really a cute movie and I am sure I will be getting more because they have a lot of John Deere movies just like this. I also feel that the movie is just the right amount of time, with little ones after a short time they get really squirmy so 35 minutes was perfect.

One Winner: will receive the same DVD that I got to review Fun On The Farm valued at $14.99

7 Facts Award!

I am so happy I just got my very first award! I want to Z thank Ms. Blase from "The Unpopular Girl in Womanhood" blog.

There are a few rules for this lovely award which I am going to have fun doing them are you ready:
~copy the award picture and add it to your blog
~thank and link back to the person who awarded you
~share 7 facts about yourself
~then I get to give 15 other bloggers this award.

1) Not many of my blogger friends on here, you don't know that I got married the day after my 18th Birthday. I know how crazy could I have been. Yes, I was still in High School at the time and I did still graduate and with a 3.8. We didn't have our first child which is my daughter until a month before I was 21. I am not sure why I got married at that age but when I find out I will let you know.

2) I call my hubby by his nickname which is Bucket for a really crazy reason. My first husband his name is George when we divorced I remarried whom is the daddy to our little boy. Ok here is the reason my hubby's name is also George I know who marries 2 guys with the same name. Also last names both start with M's another crazy thing. A good think if I call my hubby George he will never know I messed up lol just kidding but really.

3) My Junior year in High School I was a homecoming attendant. This was such a great time in my high school years actually the only one worth remembering. I loved my dress it was so simple and elegant at the same time and was just perfect. Also the song was song by Savage Garden not sure if you all remember who they are but they were my favorite and more then likely if they were still around I would still listen to them and they weren't to bad looking either lol.

4) I am a tow-boaters wife which is something that can be really hard at times. My hubby will be at work on the river for 30 days at a time going up and down the Mississippi river pushing barges and hundreds of miles away from us. They only communication that we have is well cell phones and messages on facebook. Then he gets to come home for 15 days which is always so nice. It is really hard when it comes to holidays, b-day parties, family outing and other things. I have to sit the kids down and explain why daddy won't be home for this one and that when daddy gets home we will go do something just the four of us. The kids are getting use to it which makes it easier. I do fine due to me just sticking to a routine.

5) I am a list maker like I am OCD about it. I have a list for every month that has how much we will spend to a t from rent, to a hair bow. Like I said I am OCD about it. I even have lists for each room that we will have in our house when we move what all we will need for each room like wall colors to a trash can it is crazy. I guess it can be good but I am just CRAZY.

6) My all time favorite movies are: Willie Wonka both of them, Mary Poppins, all Zombie movies, Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, Donald Duck lol I know do you remember how cute he was. I also love Night of the Living Bread I know you are like what in the world is that but you can watch it on youtube it is only like maybe 15 minutes long. With tv shows I can't live without my General Hospital, Vampire Diaries, Castle, Off the Map just to name a few. Also I was really upset when LOST was no more and it really did get lost I still have tears;(

7) My dream area to live is Dublin, Oh which we be a reality in May 2014. We are waiting that long due to hubby will be in driving school for 2 years to learn to drive a boat, then we want to live here for another year after the schooling and let the kids finish school here before we move. I love Dublin for so many reasons but let me just say I love golf and since it is a golfer community that is perfect.  I mean I can play some golf well Tiger Woods on PS2 if that counts lol. Plus we will have a Target there so excited about that one.

I hope you all injoyed learning the 7 facts about me. There are more but it was only a 7 facts award lol!

Kiesque "Liquid Palisade" Review

Kiesque beauty with brains company is the makers of Liquid Palisade which is the item I had the opportunity to review. Liquid Palisade is a new innovative and flawless product that allows you to do amazing things with your nails. There are several different ways to use this product depending on the style you want done on you nails. But, the process still is the same way.

Liquid Palisade provides a protective barrier that covers the cuticles during nail polish application. It keeps the cuticle free of nail polish color. It dries quickly before you polish and peels off easily after you polish.

For a French Tip using this product all you do is: The natural growth of you nail the white part that is showing just line it with a layer of the product, polish with you favorite tip color, peel before the tip completely dries make sure you left a little tab to be able to pull and you are all done.

For a Simple Manicure just apply on the cuticle and on the surrounding nail area, polish with your favorite color, peel it off as like the step before and you are all done.

For Nail Art  put your 1st favorite color on, let dry, then add Liquid Palisade in what ever design you want, let that dry for a few minutes. After this is done you then add your second favorite color and peel like before and that is it.

My Thoughts on the product is that I think this is such a great extra thing to have when it comes to doing your nails. It makes a big difference when painting because you can outline you skin and nails so if you are like me you aren't getting it everywhere other then just your nails. My little girl had a blast with this because we was making all kinds of silly shapes and with different colors she thought is was really cool. Also this would be a great thing for teenagers, slumber parties, stocking stuffer and a lot of other random times.  I haven't gotten to do my toes yet but this product will be great to have this summer with wearing sandals. I can make my toes all cute! I have always wanted to do more with my nails beside just painting them and this allows me to do just that.

You can show some love by liking them on Facebook and following them on Twitter.

You buy Liquid Palisade here for $22.00.

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Liquid Palisade for free from Kiesque for this review.  Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.  I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: " Guides concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
